There are different body parts that a guitar can carry. By knowing these parts of the acoustic guitar, you can master this musical instrument in a very firm way. Among all those body parts associated with an acoustic guitar, the bridge plays a very vital role for the instrument. A bridge is the part that keeps those strings of the guitar in the right shape. It’s the harmonic case and just under the hole, the bridge can be traced easily. There are two types of bridges used for the acoustic guitar. When we are talking about the acoustic guitar bridge types, fixed and floating types of bridges comes first in mind. For both folk and classical guitars, the fixed type of bridge is used. With the floating type of bridge, the strings are often anchored to the fixed tail piece.
